On a Miami, sometimes called a Miami Trip, riders sit side by side in a single long row of seats. The whole seating assembly is then swept up and over in a rising and falling movement that changes direction through the cycle, so riders are lifted high, dropped, and carried back the other way with the music running.

What to expect

The Miami is a thrill ride, but a sociable one: a row of friends ride together and see each other's faces the whole way round. It is popular with teenagers and young adults and it is a good choice where you want a genuine thrill ride but do not have the space or the audience for the largest machines. Some Miami rides are relatively compact and travel on a single vehicle, though that is not true of every machine, and we will be specific about the ride proposed.

Planning your hire

Like every ride that lifts its riders, the Miami needs level ground, clear space around the swing of the seats and nothing overhead. Vehicle access and room to set up are worth confirming early. Seat count, size and rider restrictions depend on the individual ride supplied and are confirmed in your proposal. For younger audiences, the Mini Miami offers the same idea at a gentler scale.
