Listed under Funfair Rides.
On a Round Up, riders stand in individual bays around the inside of a circular cage. The ride spins up until rotation holds everyone against the wall, and on the typical design the whole rotating section then tilts, lifting riders up towards a near-vertical position while they are still spinning. The same ride appears under names such as Meteorite, Zero Gravity and Energizer.
What to expect
This is a thrill ride, plainly. The sensation of being held in place by the spin is unlike any seated ride, and the tilt is what people talk about afterwards. It draws teenagers and adults, it draws a crowd of watchers, and it is a good addition where a line-up already has the family rides covered and needs something with more edge.
Planning your hire
The Round Up is a self-contained ride that needs level ground, clear space around it and vehicle access to reach its pitch. Who can ride is set for the individual machine by its own operating rules and risk assessment, so we do not publish a minimum age or height here; it is confirmed for the ride supplied as part of your proposal.
