The Orbiter, also spelt Orbitor, is a high-speed spinning ride. Groups of passenger cars are mounted around a central structure. As the ride rotates, its arms lift the cars into the air and the cars themselves spin, so riders are carried through fast, elevated, multi-axis movement with the lights and music going.
What to expect
This is a thrill ride, popular with the same audience as the Round Up and the Freak Out, and a strong evening attraction because the lighting on an Orbiter is usually a show in itself. It gives a line-up genuine pace without the height or footprint of the biggest pendulum rides.
Planning your hire
The Orbiter needs level ground, clear space around the reach of its arms, nothing overhead and vehicle access to its pitch. Capacity, footprint and rider restrictions are set for the individual machine rather than the ride type, and are confirmed as part of your proposal.
