A mini Ferris wheel is a smaller wheel built around younger riders. Cars travel around a vertical wheel exactly as they do on a full-size big wheel, but the wheel is lower, the pace is gentler and the cars are sized for children, often with a parent alongside. Children's Ferris wheel, junior Ferris wheel and mini big wheel all describe the same ride.

What to expect

For a young child the view from the top of even a small wheel is an event in itself, and the pace is gentle enough for cautious riders.
